Digital Message Player
(Digital Message Player with External Flash Card Memory)
This player is designed for multi-line business telephone systems
that can accept a music-on-hold source, eg. if the system already has
a radio or CD player on hold, this can easily be swapped for one of our
DP64 Digital Message Players. If the system only has ‘electronic
chimes’ or silence on hold, then you must first make the system
“Music On Hold Ready” by installing an LIU (Line Isolation
Unit - available separately).
With the supplied 32MB flash card, the DP64 provides for up to 64 minutes of music/messages on hold. Larger capacity flash cards can be used if longer soundtracks are required.

Optional Time-Programming Feature:
• Individual Start & Stop Days/Dates/Times can be PC-programmed
for each message on the flash card – and the DP64 supports 250 individual
messages! (Ask for model DP64/T)

Message Updating:
• Message/Music updates can be supplied via email and the existing
flash card may be reprogrammed via a PC. No additional software is required,
just a memory card reader. These are normally built into new PCs &
laptops, but USB readers can be used too.
• Alternatively, updates can be supplied on a new flash card, which
may be supplied on an exchange basis to reduce update costs if preferred.

Main Advantages:
• Very long message duration is possible, due to the use of plug-in
flash memory cards.
• Messages can be updated via email, or by posting the customer
a replacement flash card (useful if they do not have a PC, or do not wish
to connect anything to their PC).

This player is also designed for multi-line business telephone systems
that can accept a music-on-hold source, eg. if the system already has
a radio or CD player on hold, this can easily be swapped for one of our
DP540 Digital Message Players. If the system only has ‘electronic
chimes’ or silence on hold, then you must first make the system
“Music On Hold Ready” by installing an LIU (Line Isolation
Unit - available separately).
Provides for up to 18 minutes of music/messages on hold. Supports up to 4 message/music files that are individually selectable via a front-panel button. You can either play all messages in sequence, or just loop on a particular message.

Playback Modes:
• Continuous single-track playback
• Continuous multi-track playback
• Trigger playback - single-track (1 to 3 repeating times, programmable)
• Trigger playback - multi-tracks in sequence (1 to 3 repeating
times, programmable)
DP540 Message Updating:
• Message updates are supplied via a standard audio source (eg.
a CD player or cassette player) which needs to be connected to the DP540.
Alternatively, you can plug in most standard telephone handsets in order
to record your own voice.

Main Advantages:
• Up to 4 user-selectable messages may be recorded (total duration
of all messages cannot exceed 18 minutes)
• No PC is required to update the messages (an audio source such
as a CD player or cassette player is required to update the unit with
professionally recorded messages; or most standard telephone handsets
will suffice if the user just wishes to record their own voice).
