Designed to help a person unable to communicate with the service provider, either through physical disability or language difference, the DCT-C82 is an auto dialing loudspeaking emergency lift telephone with fully programable features and options

A remote programmable digital voice message of up to 16 seconds is played upon answer of the call, this is used to identify the calling location to the control center and can be played back at any time by pressing the correct sequence on the remote telephone keypad.

The unit will auto-dial up to three separate telephone numbers, has two on-board relay outputs, and a nickel-metal hydride backup battery which will last up to 10 hours.

Continuously running self diagnostic software will identify and alert of telephone line and/or power failure to the unit in the event of such a fault. A gentle human voice will alert the passengers in the elevator car of the fault detected and ask that they report the failure to building management immediately. This message is repeated every 5 minutes for telephone line failure and extends to 15 minutes if the power supply is faulty in order to save power.
