Ideal for apartment buildings and office blocks, the Door EntryCom is a vandal proof, loud speaking intercom system allowing keyless entry using an access code. Where privacy is an issue, telephone numbers can be stored internally and equated with a 1 - 4 digit 'room number', thereby hiding telephone number details from the user.

The unit can operate on a PSTN or PABX line and is programmed via a RS232 link using a laptop or PC. For flexibility, PIN codes and telephone numbers can also be changed using either the onboard keypad or the keypad of a remote telephone.

The DCT-DE812 has a storage capacity for 812 records, each record consists of a 2 - 4 digit room number, a 16 digit telephone number and a 1 - 4 digit PIN code. The DCT-DE812 is also capable of operating on the same telephone line as other DE812's. Up to 3 DE812's can be used on the same line.
